The Terrace
This project included a full interior and exterior renovation of an existing house, as well as a newly build minor dwelling on the same site.
The old garage was removed from site, complete groundworks were undertaken with floating piles due to the water table at the building site. A brand new minor dwelling was built with double garage and patio.
The existing garage was transported from site to a new location, and the trees were removed to make space for the new house.
The foundations proved tricky due to the site being below the water table, so a floating slab was used, as well as pumps of keep the water out during construction.
